The Western New York Chapter is one of the regional chapters of the
Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. The Chapter provides a
focal point in the western New York area for people who are interested in or
have a need for human factors and ergonomics research and technology.
Our group serves as a forum for the exchange of multidisciplinary ideas and
knowledge about people and their environments in the areas of both cognitive
ergonomics and physical ergonomics.

Form and maintain associations
with colleagues in human factors and supporting disciplines in western New
York.
Generate opportunities to
educate members about human factors and ergonomics topics, methods and
solutions.
Influence and support
educational goal for careers and contributions in human factors and
