Membership Categories
The Chapter covers all of the State of New York area except for the City
of New York and adjacent downstate cities. Its membership is centered in
Rochester, but members come from as far a Fredonia to the West and Syracuse
to the East.
We encourage membership in the national Human Factors and Ergonomics
Society, but it is not a requirement for Chapter membership. We welcome as
Chapter members Human Factors / Ergonomics practitioners, managers,
academicians and students, as well as people in related disciplines and
those who have a general interest in the area. All are welcome at meetings
and events.
Individuals can chose to become members or affiliates. A student
